Chief Parks has been serving
in law enforcement since 1984 where he began his career as a
Deputy Sheriff for the Yadkin County Sheriff's Department. After
eight years of continued service, in 1991 Chief Parks was sworn
as a police officer for the Town of Yadkinville. He was promoted
to the rank of Captain in 1993, overseeing all department
operations. On December 7th, 1998, Parks was sworn as Chief of
Police where he still proudly serves today. Chief Parks holds an
Associates Degree in Police Science from Mitchell College in
Statesville, NC.
